Named in honour of Joe Ball, Victoria’s Commissioner for LGBTIQA+ Communities and the former CEO of Switchboard Victoria. As a proud transgender man, Joe has spent 25 years in the social services sector pushing for systemic change, including spearheading the Rainbow Door helpline. He is a passionate champion for the role inclusive sport plays in supporting mental health and keeping the community connected.
